DAY 1 ABROAD – DELHI.
Arrive Delhi. Welcome on arrival with fresh flower garlands, meet-assist at Delhi International airport , transfer to your respective Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 2 DELHI – AGRA [ 200kms & 4 hours]
After morning breakfast, visit of Delhi, Qutab Minar, Jama Masjid, Rajghat, Gandhi Memorial Museum, India Gate, Qutab Minar, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Rajpath.
After visits, then leave by private car to Agra onway Lunch . Arrive Agra & transfer to Hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 3 AGRA – JAIPUR [ 240kms & 5 hours]
After breakfast, visit of Agra including Taj Mahal..
City tour of Agra including Taj Mahal.
(Taj Mahal is closed on Friday ) Taj Mahal: It has been described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love, for the emperor was heart broken when Mumtaz, to whom he had been married for 17 years , died in 1631 in childbirth, after producing 14 children. The most famous Mughal monument was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, chosen of the palace.
AGRA FORT:- While most people visit Agra to see the Taj Mahal, Agra, once the capital of all of India, has more to offer. Less than 2 kilometers from the Taj Mahal, on the same river bank, you'll find the impressive Agra Fort.
Afternoon leave by private car to Jaipur enroute Lunch and Fatehpur Sikri visit. Fatehpur Sikri: Between 1570 and 1585, during the reign of Emperor Akbar, the capital of the Mughal Empire was situated here, 40 km west of Agra. Then as suddenly and dramatically as this new city had been built. It was abandoned, mainly due , it is thought, to difficulties with the water supply. Today it’s a perfectly preserved example of a Mughal city at the height of the empire’s splendour an attraction no visiter to Agra should miss. Arrive Jaipur and transfer to Hotel. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
DAY 4 JAIPUR – DELHI [ 250kms & 5 hours]
After breakfast, check-out from hotel, then City tour of Jaipur. City Palace: The palace is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. A part of palace has been converted into museum. It has an impressive collection of arts, carpets, enamelware and weapons.In the heart of the old city, the City Palace occupies a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens and buildings.
Hawa Mahal:- Arguably Jaipur's most acclaimed landmark, the tapering Hawa Mahal, or "Palace of Winds" was built in 1799 to enable the ladies of the royal household to watch street processions while remaining in a strict state of purdah. Its five-storey facade, decked with no less than 593 finely screened windows and balconies, makes the building seem far larger than it really is; in fact it is little more than one room thick in most parts.
PM – drive by car for Delhi via visit Amber Fort onway Lunch,
Excursion to Amber Fort and Joy Elephant ride upto the Hills. Amber Fort: Situated about 11 km out of Jaipur on the Delhi to Jaipur road, Amber was once the ancient capital of Jaipur state. Construction of the fortress palace was begun in 1952 by Raja Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar’s army. It was later extended and completed by the Jai singhs before the move to Jaipur on the plains below. The fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture, stunningly situated on a hillside and overlooking a lake which reflects its terraces and ramparts. An imposing stairway leads to the Diwan-I-Am, or hall of public Audiences, with a double row of columns and latticed galleries above. Steps to the right lead to the small Kali Temple.
After finishes of Amber Fort, then drive to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to Hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 5 DELHI – SRINAGAR [ Flight]
After breakfast, transfer to domestic airport for flight to Srinagar departure at 10:55AM. Arrival at 12:15Noon. Meet-assist and transfer to Houseboat. Rest of the day free at Leisure. Lunch at Houseboat. Dinner and Overnight.
DAY 6 SRINAGAR [ B / L / D ]
Explore of the city.
Srinagar is the summer capital of the state of Jammu and Kashmir and is the pride of the beautiful valley of Kashmir. Srinagar is famous for its lakes and the charming rows of houseboats floating on them. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dry fruits. Srinagar is located in the western part of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, in the northern region of India. It is located in the Kashmir valley. River Jhelum passes through Srinagar city. Srinagar is 876 km north of Delhi. It is rightly called the Pride of the Kashmir Valley.
The Dal Lake is an important tourist attraction of Srinagar. It is located on the eastern end of the city. The Dal Lake comprises of a series of lakes, including the Nagin Lake some 8 km from the city center. One can enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains surrounding Srinagar from this lake. Travelers can enjoy taking a ride on traditional Kashmiri boats or the Shikaras to explore the intricate maze of waterways of this lake. The other major attractions of Srinagar city are the well laid out Mughal styled gardens.
The Shalimar Bagh and the Nishat Bagh are beautiful gardens located to the far eastern side of the Dal Lake. One can take a stroll amongst these green and attractive gardens and enjoy the waterworks within them. The temple of Shankaracharya is another important place to visit in Srinagar. Jaluka, the son of emperor Ashoka, built it in the 3rd century bc.
DAY 7 SRINAGAR – DELHI – ABROAD
After breakfast, visit of Shikara ride.
About Shikara:- A shikara ride is one of the most soothing, relaxing aspects of a holiday in Kashmir. Shikaras are long boats which crowd the Srinagar lakes. They are used for getting back and forth from the houseboats or for longer tours. It is worth to take a pleasure ride around the lake in shikara. Shikara is a Gondola type light rowing boat. The two hour boat ride takes tourists on a relaxing sightseeing tour of interior parts of the calm and placid waters of Dal Lake, and be part of shopping- by-shikara expeditions. Because the Dal is so central to the landscape of Srinagar, many places of tourist interest have, over the ages, been built in its vicinity. Nishat and Shalimar gardens as well as Hazratbal mosque are directly accessible by shikara.
LATER transfer to airport for domestic flight to Delhi. On arrival, Meet-assist at Delhi airport & transfer to International airport for flight to onward destination or home.
